Are you willing to kickstart your career at Orange Business Digital Services? By attending our 6-month Cloud & Data Academy – you will learn soft and hard skills along with the concepts underlying the leading technologies on the market in these areas of expertise. You will get solid foundations by working on real-world examples and you will be learning from industry experts alongside other young graduates. At the end of the academy, you are expected to present a global use case in front of a jury of subject matter experts and managers. After which you will join Orange Business Digital Services, as part of a multi-functional team where everyone contributes and shares their knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.

What you can expect  as a Junior Data Consultant:

Supervised and coached by senior consultants, you will be placed in an ideal position to develop your skills, pass several certifications, and become one of our data specialists.

Once trained, as part of a project team, you will contribute to the delivery of valuable business insights, by putting into action all the skills you acquired.

• Paradigm.BRUSSELS: Building a data platform (Snowflake, DBT, Mulesoft) for the Brussels Region to improve citizens' daily life and embrace tomorrow's city challenges.
• Pharma company: Using public genetics data (Snowflake, microservices, Azure) in research for drugs development.
• Metal industry company: Building a data analytics platform, centralizing manufacturing data in near real time (Azure Databricks, Azure Datafactory, Power BI)
• Cosmetic company: Using NLP techniques to extract information from unstructured clinical study documents (Python, Google Vertex AI, Prodigy).

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Bachelor or master's degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong interest in IT and Data
• Eager to learn new skills & ready to be trained
• You are fluent in English, and either Dutch or French

It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:

• Knowledge of a programming language
• Comprehension of SQL principles
• Experience with a cloud provider (Azure, GCP, AWS)
•  Experience with a visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, …)
•  Internship, personal projects, or a 1st experience in IT
