The team, position & mission:
At Orange Business Spain, we are accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across our clients, combining AI strategy, governance and large-scale delivery.
As Senior AI Engineer – Consulting & Delivery Lead, you will work closely with the AI Lead for Spain, acting as their technical counterpart and trusted advisor. You will play a key role in client-facing engagements, technical leadership, and the end‑to‑end delivery of AI and Generative AI solutions.
This is not a back-office engineering role. You will actively participate in client meetings, workshops and solution definition sessions, helping translate strategic and business objectives into robust, scalable AI architectures and production-ready solutions.
You will join a multidisciplinary Data & AI team and collaborate with consultants, architects, cloud engineers and data engineers to position Orange Business as a credible, long-term AI partner, not just a technology provider.

Your key areas of responsibility as Senior AI Engineer:
Act as senior technical lead for AI and GenAI initiatives, from early client discussions to production deployment.
Partner with the AI Lead to co‑lead client conversations, technical workshops and solution design sessions.
Design and implement end‑to‑end AI solutions, including data pipelines, models, integrations and deployment architectures.
Contribute to the definition of AI architectures ensuring scalability, security, performance and compliance.
Support the definition of AI technical roadmaps and target architectures aligned with client strategy and maturity.
Lead the technical design and implementation of LLM‑based use cases, AI agents and advanced analytics solutions.
Define and apply MLOps / LLMOps practices to ensure reliable, maintainable and governable AI systems.
Support presales activities, including solution shaping, technical storytelling and effort estimation.
Act as a mentor and reference for other AI engineers, promoting best practices and technical excellence.
Stay up to date with AI trends and help clients make informed, realistic technology choices.
As an ideal candidate you have:
5+ years of experience in AI / Machine Learning engineering, with proven delivery of production-grade solutions.
Hands‑on experience with Python and modern ML / DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn).
Solid experience with Generative AI and LLM ecosystems (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain or similar).
Proven ability to design end‑to‑end AI solutions, from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
Experience contributing to AI architecture decisions in enterprise or complex environments.
Strong understanding of cloud‑based AI platforms, preferably Azure (Azure ML, AI Foundry, containers, CI/CD).
Practical knowledge of MLOps / LLMOps concepts (deployment, monitoring, retraining, governance).
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and lead client‑facing discussions.
A strong consulting mindset: problem-solving orientation, pragmatism and business focus.
Fluent communication skills in Spanish and English.
It is not a requirement, but a strong plus if you have:
Previous experience in consulting or professional services environments.
Exposure to AI governance, risk, compliance or responsible AI frameworks.
Experience working with large or regulated organizations.
Knowledge of DevOps / IaC practices (Docker, CI/CD, Terraform).
