How can a network of insurers serving multinational companies ensure effective collaboration with partners across the globe? How can it efficiently monitor client performance and identify new opportunities? At Insurope, our role is to turn data into insight and design visual dashboards that are simple, clear, and powerful, enabling Insurope's collaborators to access meaningful insights and support their decision-making in just a few clicks.
In Brussels, as in all European cities, mobility is undergoing a major transformation: less space for cars and more space for active mobility. To better manage these changes, our work at our customer Brussels Mobility involves bringing together data from private operators and public sources to visually identify problem areas and prioritize interventions.
Our customer Sappi, a global pulp and paper company, requested our help to significantly reduce energy costs and offer capacity in energy balancing markets on a daily basis. You could join the team designing and building effective interfaces and dashboards with Looker and helping to make their data usable and consumable for decision makers.

What You’ll Do:
All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with
As Data Analysis and Visualization Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of exciting projects that leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools and techniques.
Your work will help our clients optimize their business processes by giving users insights that will help steer their decision making.
Engage with clients: Interviewing and understanding your target audience to discover their needs and current challenges.
Data preparation: Sourcing and shaping the required data into a clearer and more structured format that is ready for analysis. Detecting and calculating relevant derived data insights.
Dashboard design: moving away from big lists of text and numbers to an intuitive and immersive visual design that tells a story with the data to engage the end users. Here we allow users to get insights from their data at a quick glance by using visual cues rather than sifting through a lot of information.
Collaborate and connect: Connecting business and IT to work together on enabling the setup and governance of reporting solutions.
End user support and coaching: Training & supporting end users in their self-service reporting journey.

Strong communication and presentation skills in French and/or Dutch + English
Your technical expertise:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical role.
Experience with data analysis/visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and others.
Data Transformation and Modeling:
- You enjoy solving data transformation puzzles and shaping data.
- A good understanding of how to model data for reporting/analytical operations is essential.
Querying & data exploration skills:
- A solid knowledge of querying relational databases using SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and data lake technologies such as ADLS, or similar platforms.
Business understanding & problem solving: A strong ability to think along with the business to determine what are the best insights to be found in the data.
Dashboard design:
- An affinity to understand your target audience and their information needs.
- An interest in and appreciation for good visual design and how to present data in a useful way towards the end users.
