Orange Business Digital Services is looking for a Public Sector & Transportation Account Lead with a passion for Data, AI, and Customer Experience, to drive our sales initiatives in this large and challenging sector. We aim to further enable our customers’ success on their digital journey with trusted partnerships and innovative solutions, deploying cutting-edge Customer Data Platforms and Data Solutions in the latest Microsoft, GCP, and Adobe technologies.
As an Account Lead, you manage specific clients while collaborating closely with the delivery team, the Industry Lead and the Sourcing Lead to ensure execution excellence. You report to the Public & Transportation Industry Lead with key metrics around revenue growth, new project business, and balancing the right profit margins. You will play a pivotal role in developing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and expanding our presence in the public sector, demonstrating the following skills:
What You’ll Do:
All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with
- Understanding the account's roadmap and mapping Digital Services’ solutions in line with customer ambitions.
- Defining account strategies and account plans in collaboration with the Sales Director, Industry Lead, and Sourcing Lead.
- Developing high intimacy with customers, including C-level proximity for strategic accounts.
- Ensuring a people-oriented sales process focused on consultants’ growth and well-being.
- Following up on delivery (project steerco) at the client from both commercial and consultant perspectives.
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, combining a farmer approach with a hunter’s drive.
- Collaborating with presales, delivery, and partner teams to design tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Navigating public procurement dynamics and tender processes effectively.
- Contributing to revenue, profit margins, and pipeline development.
- Leveraging expertise in Data, AI, and Customer Experience to position Orange Business Digital Services as a trusted advisor.
Who You Are:
That matter most for this role
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar field (selling IT or consulting services, account management, business development, or telemarketing).
- Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch. (Notion of) French is a plus.
- Experience in IT or digital transformation consulting is a plus.
- Customer-oriented, enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven.
- Solution-oriented, self-learner, self-starter, and problem solver.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, assess feasibility, and anticipate consequences.
- Strong communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable engaging with C-level and executive stakeholders in complex organizations.
- Collaborative mindset, with focus on consultant growth and delivery excellence.
