The team, position & mission

Join our Data Team as a Data Architect! In this role, your focus will be on designing complex data architectures and inspiring clients with our innovative solutions. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop customized data strategies that support their business goals. This involves having many discussions with clients, presenting our solution approaches, and conveying the benefits of our data architectures. Your contribution is crucial in guiding our clients toward success with strategic data solutions. If you have a strong understanding of modern data architectures and enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we look forward to developing innovative and forward-thinking solutions with you.

Your key areas of responsibility as Data Architect

• You present and communicate with clients to position our solutions in a pre-sales context
• You create and conduct training sessions and workshops
• You design and implement data architectures and platforms
• You guide colleagues in implementing your architectures and sub-projects within transformation programs
• You conduct analyses to identify optimization potentials and derive action recommendations for our clients
• You manage client relationships, further develop the relationship as a trusted advisor, and identify cross-selling opportunities

As an ideal candidate you have

• Experience in a consulting firm or a similar internal role in a large corporation
• Flexibility and confidence in client interactions
• Proven experience in client interactions and development management within data-related project teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills for specialized content
• A solid understanding of data infrastructures, cloud architectures, and project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2)
• Fluent communication in German (C1) and English (B2).
• Experience with one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure)

It's not a requirement but it would be a plus if you also have experience with

• Databricks or Apache Hadoop ecosystems (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka)
• Python or Java

The process: We review applications continuously with the goal of starting interviews as soon as possible. You will start with an initial conversation with Dana (TA Manager). If there is mutual interest, an interview with our Data Team Lead will follow, where you will dive deeper into the details of the position.
