The team, position & mission:
At Orange Business Digital Services Spain, a company of the Orange Group, we are looking for a Support Technician with previous experience in Service Desk and Incident Management to join a team for a major project in the telecommunications sector. The position is based in Madrid with a hybrid ways of working setup.

Your key areas of responsibility as Support Technician:
Provide support and manage incidents within the specified Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Investigate and diagnose incidents to restore failed IT services as quickly as possible and identify root causes to prevent recurrence (problem management).
Document troubleshooting steps, incident details, and service restoration information.
Ability to identify problems.
Verify resolution of assigned incidents.
Review, monitor, and validate scheduled tasks.
Take over paid 24/7 on-call shifts for critical service incidents or scheduled tasks, rotating with the team.
Monitor and track service KPIs.
Perform proactive maintenance tasks to prevent incidents and problems.
As an ideal candidate you have:
Technical education in IT (Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar).
Fluency in Spanish (C1) and an intermediate English level (B2).
Technical and functional knowledge of Telco environments.
Analytical and network problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of SQL.
Availability for 24/7 shifts.
It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:
Knowledge of Power BI.
Knowledge of Python.
Experience with 3G / 4G mobile networks.
General understanding of 5G networks.
IP networking knowledge.
Experience with virtualized infrastructure environments.
Ability to read and manage technical documentation.
