The team, position & mission
Join our Sales team as an Account Executive, supporting our customers to generate new and better business. In this role, you will provide guidance, expertise, and leadership on their way through their digital transformation. Your mission is to leverage your technical understanding and your understanding about our customers businesses combined with your sales expertise to win new deals and accounts.
Your key areas of responsibility as Account Executive
- You reach out to potential clients to identify and pursue new cloud and data sales opportunities
- You provide expert guidance on cloud economics, including TCO and commercial models, to help clients understand the cost structure and value drivers of cloud and data solutions
- You apply value-based / solution sales methodologies to articulate the benefits and ROI of our cloud offerings
- You develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts
- You collaborate with internal local and international teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of cloud and data solutions
- You track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue to achieve and exceed quota targets
- You offer tailored consulting services to address specific client needs, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and technical requirements
- You act as a strategic advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on cloud and data strategy, architecture, and best practices
As an ideal candidate you have
- 5+ years of proven enterprise cloud / data sales experience
- Proven successful quota achievement history
- Deep understanding of enterprise cloud transformation and data journey
- Proven success record in enterprise cloud sales in Germany
- Relevant technical and consultancy background
- Fluent knowledge of German and English written and verbally
- Excellent collaboration, presentation and planning skills
- Strong consulting skills, including problem-solving, strategic thinking, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs
